Cath Lab Tech (Radiology / Cardiology – Cath Lab / EP)

Contract (13 or 26 weeks) | Days, 4x10 Hours (7:00–17:30) | Onsite | Expected 70 hours per two-week period; traveler may be called off for one 10-hour shift per two-week period
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, and Structural Heart cases (PFO, TAVR, Mitral Clip)
- Support Interventional Radiology procedures including lines, drains, embolizations, upper/lower extremity interventions, fistulas, visceral angio/intervention, and stroke thrombectomy
- Assist with neurointervention and CRM device implant procedures
- Float within scope to IR, EP, and vascular as facility needs require
- Participate in on-call coverage, including one on-call shift per week and every fourth weekend</strong>; some Saturdays are part of the regular four-shift weekly schedule
- Document and chart using Epic; willing to work two of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
Required Qualifications
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ARRT (R) or RCIS required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- EP experience, IR experience, vascular experience, neuro experience, and hemodynamic monitoring experience required
- Valid state license required (pending license accepted; processing takes approximately 10–12 weeks)
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with CTO, peripheral interventions, venous access, and rhythm interpretation
- Familiarity with Philips X-Ray systems, McKesson for Cath Lab, and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP
- Experience with a variety of atherectomy and thrombectomy devices, and temporary LVAD support
- Epic charting experience strongly preferred
