Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:5
• Perform IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience
• ACLS and BCLS certification required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable for second reference; no coworker references)
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system
• Experience with telemetry monitoring in an acute or progressive care environment
