Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Holiday availability required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity PICU setting
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required — floating is 100% required of all travelers
• Fulfill holiday shift obligations, with an expectation to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Charge nurse responsibilities may be available, with applicable additional compensation

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license must be in hand prior to submission (temporary licenses may be considered once permanent license application has been submitted)
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Graduation from a nursing program accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation
• Valid SSN and date of birth required at time of submittal
• 2 supervisor references required
• Indiana residents are not accepted for this PICU position — must reside outside of Indiana to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed — first-time travelers are accepted
• Experience in a pediatric or pediatric critical care environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity, fast-paced ICU workflows and interdisciplinary team collaboration
