Schedule / Job Type

• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies and compliance requirements, including timely documentation and training modules.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards across shifts.
• Ensure proper handling and operation of infusion pumps and glucometers as trained.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
• Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts reliably.
• Must fulfill compliance documentation deadlines (2 Fridays prior to shift start).
• Completion of required units and modules (including EMR, EPIC, infusion pump, and glucometer training).
• Willingness to float between departments, units, and facilities as needed, with proper documentation of travel compliance.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Ability to adjust to flexible department needs and travel requirements.
