Registered Nurse Rehabilitation

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehab (Travel)

• Fort Worth, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to neurological, cardiac, and orthopedic adult patients
• Administer medications, wound care, and perform various medical-surgical procedures as ordered
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately using Meditech system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient rehabilitation plans
• Assist with patient mobilization and rehabilitation activities, learning specialty skills as needed
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols including PPE usage

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas or applicable state
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient hospital nursing experience in medical-surgical, critical care, or rehabilitation units
• Willingness to learn and perform specialty patient mobilization and documentation procedures
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow coaching and training

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neurological, cardiac, and orthopedic patient populations
• Prior inpatient rehabilitation or long-term acute care (LTACH) experience
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Ability to work rotating night shifts effectively
