- Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehab (Travel)

- Fort Worth, TX
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to neurological, cardiac, and orthopedic adult patients
- Administer medications, wound care, and perform various medical-surgical procedures as ordered
- Document patient progress and care activities accurately using Meditech system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient rehabilitation plans
- Assist with patient mobilization and rehabilitation activities, learning specialty skills as needed
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols including PPE usage
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in Texas or applicable state
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years inpatient hospital nursing experience in medical-surgical, critical care, or rehabilitation units
- Willingness to learn and perform specialty patient mobilization and documentation procedures
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow coaching and training
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neurological, cardiac, and orthopedic patient populations
- Prior inpatient rehabilitation or long-term acute care (LTACH) experience
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
- Ability to work rotating night shifts effectively
