Travel Radiation Therapist – Oncology

Contract | Travel | 12-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments including VMAT, 3D treatments, SRS, and SBRT
• Perform emergency treatments including SVC syndrome, heterotopic bone, whole brain treatment, and spinal cord compression
• Operate Truebeam and iX linear accelerators in a clinical oncology setting
• Utilize OBI imaging modalities including KV, MV, and CBCT for patient positioning and treatment verification
• Document patient care and treatment data using Mosaiq and Meditech systems
• Collaborate within a team of Radiation Therapists and Radiation Oncology RNs to ensure safe, high-quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• ARRT board certification required
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Demonstrated familiarity with OBI imaging: KV, MV, and CBCT
• Grey or charcoal grey scrubs required as dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience operating Truebeam linear accelerators
• Experience with OSMS (optical surface monitoring system)
• Background in a high-acuity oncology or cancer center environment
