Operating Room Technician - OR Tech

Contract | Rotating Day/Evening Shift | Onsite | Monday through Sunday availability required, including weekends and on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub surgical cases including general and sports medicine procedures
• Float across operating room assignments as required
• Fulfill on-call obligations, including approximately one night per week and one weekend every two weeks
• Operate within a Level 1 trauma environment, supporting high-acuity surgical cases
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling, as shift assignments are subject to change

Required Qualifications

• Certification through NBSTSA (Certified Surgical Technologist)
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience
• Large Level 1 trauma experience within the last year
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Reliable personal or rental transportation required; public transportation is not accessible in this area

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Complete work history documentation including bed count, EMR systems used, and facility type
