Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 4:1 patient ratio (up to 5:1 when stretched)
• Perform neurological and spinal assessments, including C-collar placement and TLSO brace management
• Manage and monitor chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions, lumbar drains, and feeding tube placement
• Administer blood transfusions and operate equipment including IV pumps, PCA pumps, and patient lifts (Skylift)
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed; participate in every-other-weekend scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Neuro and trauma care experience required — candidates without this experience will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong background in neuro and trauma care within a PCU or stepdown setting
• Experience with tracheostomy care and management
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
