Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | 13–26 Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric general Medical/Surgical patients on a unit with a daily census of approximately 43
• Manage and monitor patients receiving Heparin drips, high-flow oxygen, and wound vac dressing changes
• Support patients on limited short-term BiPap with respiratory therapy assistance as needed
• Float to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding as required
• Participate in every-other-weekend rotation and work assigned holidays
• Serve as a member of the assigned Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team; may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters

Required Qualifications

• Active NC RN license or valid Compact RN license (pending licensure acceptable at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Ability to work holidays and care for COVID-positive patients as assigned
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome; a lower rate applies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI certification
• Charge nurse experience (preferred for travelers on night shift)
• Familiarity with PYXIS medication dispensing and SBAR communication framework
