Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services in both outpatient and inpatient settings under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist
  • Treat patients presenting with conditions such as back pain, sports injuries, post-orthopedic surgery recovery, stroke, and chronic conditions including arthritis and Parkinson's disease
  • Assist in the delivery of pelvic floor care as needed
  • Collaborate as part of a small, close-knit physical therapy department to deliver quality patient care

Required Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
  • Active and valid state licensure or eligibility to practice in Kansas
  • Experience working in acute care settings
  • Ability to treat a diverse patient population across outpatient and inpatient environments

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience or training in pelvic floor therapy
  • Background working in rural healthcare environments
  • Familiarity with rehabilitation of neurological and chronic condition patients
