Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support positive patient outcomes
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the supervising RN or provider
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN or LVN license valid in North Carolina or a Compact state
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an LPN/LVN
• Experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Current BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with acute care hospital environments
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced setting
