Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Monitor and interpret telemetry, including identification and management of dysrhythmias
- Operate bedside monitoring equipment capable of telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry
- Float within scope of practice to other unit areas as needed to meet facility staffing needs
- Work every other weekend as required by the unit schedule
- Document patient care accurately using an electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license valid in South Carolina — must be in hand prior to start date
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
- Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Ability and willingness to work every other weekend — non-negotiable
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a community hospital setting
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record charting system
