Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit following AWHONN staffing guidelines (1:1 for labor and recovery; 1:2 for Cytotec or Cervidil patients)
- Perform and assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, including OR circulation for C-sections
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using continuous fetal monitoring equipment
- Assist with newborn delivery and immediate postpartum care, including catching newborns as needed
- Utilize electronic medical record system (CPN/GE) for accurate and timely documentation
- Float to Mother Baby and Women's Surgery units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency with fetal monitoring and OR equipment
- Ability to work rotating weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- OR circulation experience for cesarean sections
- Experience catching newborns at delivery
- Antepartum care experience
