Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holidays required on a rotating basis | 2–3 on-call shifts per month expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) setting throughout night shift hours
• Float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed to support overflow patient census
• Care for pediatric patients as required within the scope of the role
• Participate in on-call rotation, with expected availability of 2–3 on-call shifts per month
• Adhere to facility policies including participation in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling
• Maintain all required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required — candidates must be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start if not already held
• Completion of a fetal monitoring course (intermediate or advanced level) within the past 24 months required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery (LDR) experience
• Must be willing to float to Medical-Surgical and care for pediatric patients
• New graduates are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of LDR experience, ideally in a rural hospital setting
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
