Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:5–6, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout the shift
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including like units, as required
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as needed, including during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Telemetry competency required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
