Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:5–6
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license required prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated telemetry competency required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
