Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts) | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Telemetry unit
- Manage patients requiring TR Bands straight from procedure
- Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Heparin, Lasix, and Cardizem
- Support the Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process
- Float to all acute care units as needed
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience
- Experience with TR Bands straight from procedure
- Experience with cardiac drips (Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem)
- Experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2–5 years of Telemetry nursing experience
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
