Key Responsibilities
- Perform nursing duties within a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, functioning as part of a 3-member procedural team for patient cases
- Assist with left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker/ICD implantations, Watchman procedures, EP ablations (PFA), IR procedures, and vascular cases
- Operate and assist with Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment during procedures
- Document patient care using MERGE Hemo cath lab documentation system and Meditech Expanse EMR
- Float to Pre/Post Cath Department as needed
- Adhere to procedural guidelines including universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderate sedation protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to work one full weekend plus two weekdays per four-week schedule (10 shifts per four-week period)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience strongly preferred
- Team-oriented and flexible personality well-suited to a fast-paced procedural environment
