Contract | Rotating Schedule (Days and Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Day Shift: 07:00–19:00 | Night Shift: 19:00–07:00 | Schedule rotates on a multi-week basis — no shift rotation within the same week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records (required, no exceptions)
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Complete all required facility orientation modules within the designated orientation week timeframe
• Fulfill a minimum of 2 holiday shifts during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or a compact state — must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required — no exceptions
• Must be available to work a minimum of 2 holidays during the assignment
• 2 professional references required at time of submission
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate — no radius restrictions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a PICU or critical care pediatric setting
• Familiarity with facility orientation processes and self-directed learning modules
