Primary Purpose:  Independently manage a classroom, differentiate instruction, analyze student data, collaborate with colleagues, and build strong relationships with students and families.

  • Middle School: ELA (6th grade)
  • Elementary: Math (4th grade)

Qualifications:

• Valid GA teaching certification (K-5, 6-8, 9-12 or K-12) required.
• Minimum 1yr experience under license
• Strong background in ELA (mostly writing), math or related field.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous, standards-aligned instruction.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and academically challenging classroom environment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
• Use student assessment data to guide instruction and monitor academic progress.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with students and families.
• Establish and maintain effective classroom management systems.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education teachers, interventionists, and school leadership.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs.
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
• Maintain accurate student records and instructional documentation.
• Support the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development of students.
