General Education Teacher
Primary Purpose: Independently manage a classroom, differentiate instruction, analyze student data, collaborate with colleagues, and build strong relationships with students and families.
Position Details:

- Schedule: May vary based on location
- Openings:
- Middle School: ELA (6th grade)
- Elementary: Math (4th grade)
Qualifications:
- Valid GA teaching certification (K-5, 6-8, 9-12 or K-12) required.
- Minimum 1yr experience under license
- Strong background in ELA (mostly writing), math or related field.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous, standards-aligned instruction.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and academically challenging classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
- Use student assessment data to guide instruction and monitor academic progress.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students and families.
- Establish and maintain effective classroom management systems.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education teachers, interventionists, and school leadership.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain accurate student records and instructional documentation.
- Support the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development of students.
