Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines within a large acute care hospital setting
- Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/pediatric vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive devices, and high-flow oxygen devices (Vapotherm, Comfort Flow)
- Document patient care and treatment using Cerner EMR
- Float to all critical care units and general floors as needed
- Maintain patient ratios of 10–25 patients and collaborate within a team of 12–16 night-shift RRTs across adult and NICU/Peds service lines
- Fulfill weekend shift requirements (minimum 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License required
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required — CRTs will not be considered
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Experience working in NICU or pediatric respiratory care settings
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
