Key Responsibilities

• Provide circulating RN coverage across a large OR float pool serving a 1,000+ bed Level 1 trauma facility
• Support all assigned service lines including general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, hybrid rooms, ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary cases
• Adapt to a variable day schedule based on unit need; block scheduling is not available
• Participate in late-stay coverage as needed — approximately four late stays per 13-week period — remaining until night shift assumes care or rooms are closed
• Float within the OR as needed; does not include floating to separate locations
• Expected to work 2 of 3 holidays during the assignment; time off is limited and excessive requests cannot be approved

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license must be on file at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Circulating experience required; scrub experience is not required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must be available for the full 26-week contract; shorter commitments will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple OR service lines in a high-volume or Level 1 trauma environment
• Familiarity with robotic, hybrid, or procedural room settings
• Experience in a float pool or large academic medical center OR
