iDEAL HIRE is hiring a new Reading / Orton-Gillingham Coach for our client in the Education industry. This is a part-time (approx. 20 hours/month) role, working in Forest Park, GA, offering a pay rate starting at $40/hr.

Role Details

• Schedule: Flexible Afternoon Hours - approximately 5 hours/week

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide ongoing instructional coaching and feedback to teachers implementing Orton-Gillingham interventions.
• Support teachers in delivering high-quality literacy instruction and ensure fidelity to best practices.
• Document coaching observations and strategies using the Bullseye coaching platform.
• Facilitate weekly collaborative planning meetings to review student data, plan instruction, and problem-solve student needs.
• Prepare comprehensive literacy reports (Beginning, Middle, End of Year) for school leadership, including data analysis and improvement recommendations.
• Lead schoolwide DIBELS 8th Edition implementation—training staff, monitoring assessment fidelity, and analyzing data.
• Conduct bi-weekly classroom observations to monitor intervention fidelity, pacing, and student engagement, providing constructive feedback.
• Analyze and interpret DIBELS data to inform ongoing literacy strategies and school-wide initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current Orton-Gillingham Certification from an accredited organization.
• GaPSC Teaching certification with a Reading or Literacy Endorsement.
• Deep knowledge of the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy practices.
• Experience administering and interpreting DIBELS 8th Edition assessments.
• Prior experience serving as a literacy coach or intervention specialist.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent written communication abilities.
• Experience coaching educators and providing impactful instructional feedback.
