Contract | 26-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a primarily Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry capability, maintaining a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Administer blood products, manage peripheral lines, and perform IV starts
• Administer Heparin, Insulin, and PCA; provide care via nasal cannula and maintain isolation precautions
• Utilize Rapid Response teams as clinically indicated
• Serve as Charge RN on an as-needed basis
• Float to other system campuses as needed; all travelers are subject to float across all network facilities

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• Must commit to a 26-week contract — no 13-week option available
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility; current driver's license required to verify address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with Rapid Response protocols and charge nurse responsibilities
• Experience with Heparin, Insulin, and PCA administration in an acute care environment
