Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 28-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Manage patients with a variety of conditions including respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, and patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Operate and monitor equipment including IV pumps, SCDs, walkers, CVCs, and indwelling catheters; administer heparin drips as indicated
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Utilize communication boards to meet patient experience standards
• Participate in weekend shift rotation (4 shifts per 28-day schedule), holiday rotation, and unit float rotation as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills
• Experience with respiratory, renal, and GI patient populations; familiarity with telemetry, CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology patient care experience
• General surgery patient care experience
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
