Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Cardiac Care Unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Monitor and manage critically ill cardiac patients including those in cardiogenic shock
• Operate and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment including PA catheters
• Assist with and support procedures such as central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to other units as needed based on census demands

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Cardiac experience required
• Strong critical care experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with IABP and/or Impella devices
• Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
• Familiarity with Hill-Rom beds and Philips telemetry monitoring systems
• Prior travel nursing experience in a CCU or ICU setting
