Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Float Pool)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/Step-Down float pool environment, with potential float assignments to a nearby affiliated hospital location
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac and telemetry monitoring
• Perform IV starts and other required clinical skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and patient management
• Adapt to varying unit needs, including weekend assignments as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of PCU/Step-Down or related RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Telemetry monitoring skills required
• EPIC experience required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
• Experience in an academic medical center or large health system environment
• Strong adaptability and ability to transition between units with minimal orientation
