Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac dysrhythmias continuously throughout the shift
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November), as required by facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license — must be in hand and active prior to start date
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered as a non-local candidate; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a community hospital setting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with Epic charting platform
