Contract | Nights | 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | On-call not required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:6–1:7
• Monitor and respond to cardiac rhythms, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Float to like units with like patients as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Complete all assigned onboarding modules prior to start date; attendance at staff meetings is required
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as directed, particularly during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be given priority consideration; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at this facility must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with Epic EMR
