Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in planning and delivering safe, high-quality patient care
• Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy care, central line management, and wound care
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and fulfill on-call requirements, including one weekend per month

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or multi-state compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Skilled/LTAC RN experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required — must be issued through the American Heart Association
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator/tracheostomy management and knowledge of central lines
• Must meet travel nursing eligibility requirements for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Wound care experience is preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with LTAC/Telemetry patient populations
