Registered Nurse – LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: October 12, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Manage and monitor patients requiring telemetry and long-term acute care, including those on ventilator and tracheostomy support
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license or multi-state compact RN license
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (required at time of submission)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Tele/LTAC experience in a hospital setting
• Vent and trach experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2–5 years of overall clinical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
