Registered Nurse – ICU (Rapid Response / Travel)

Contract | 6-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Coronary Care / ICU unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices
• Perform and assist with procedures such as heart catheterizations, cardioversion, and central line management
• Administer and titrate complex medication drips in accordance with unit protocols
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIH) and ensure all credentials are current and included in submission

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience
• Neuro ICU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required — must be included in submission packet
• No time-off requests or special scheduling considerations can be accommodated during this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous travel nursing experience in a large facility ICU setting
• Driven, organized, and efficient with a positive, engaged attitude
