Pediatric Cath Lab Radiology Tech (Cath Lab / EP)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 5x8 Hours (7:00–15:30) | On-call required: approximately 8–10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in a 2-room Pediatric Cath Lab setting, including Pediatric and Adult Transplant Right/Left Heart Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, and Valve Placement
• Support Interventional Radiology (IR) cases, preferably in a pediatric environment
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekend coverage, as part of standard scheduling expectations
• Operate within a high-acuity, teaching hospital environment utilizing EPIC for charting
• Participate in facility emergency response teams, including potential activation during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Certification requirement: CCI with RCIS or RCES (preferred), OR ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) (also acceptable)
• Radiation badge required — must be provided by the staffing agency
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of candidate submission; approvals are based on facility needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab setting
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience
• Pediatric IR experience
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
