Ultrasound Technologist – Maternal Fetal Medicine / OB-GYN Sonographer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations including fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed), follow-up OB, biophysical profiles (BPP), umbilical and MCA dopplers, first trimester scans, pelvic scans, sonohysterograms, and HyCoSy procedures
• Conduct Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) scans as well as GYN and early dating OB scans; candidates proficient only in GYN/early dating OB will also be considered
• See an expected patient volume of up to 8 patients per day (4 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon); twin pregnancies count as two scans per session
• Operate within a large, Level I Trauma facility with two campus sites, supporting MFM, OB/GYN, midwifery, and REI service lines
• Document and manage patient records accurately using the EPIC EMR system

Required Qualifications

• ARDMS registration with OB/GYN credential required
• Active Vermont state license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Large teaching hospital experience required
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required (non-negotiable)
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle required; public transportation is not accessible in this area — vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) scanning
• Familiarity with REI procedures and sonohysterograms/HyCoSy
• Complete and detailed work history documentation including bed counts, EMR systems used, and facility types
