Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuro Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and assess neurological and telemetry patients, documenting care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Complete required weekend shifts — expected 2 shifts every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday rotation depending on scheduling needs)
• Float within service line to support facility staffing needs as required (excluding ICU, SDU, and ED)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or a qualifying compact state (must match permanent residence); MO license may be submitted without license in hand — IL license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum of 2+ years of RN experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Scrub color: Navy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Neuro Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with EPIC charting platform
• Experience floating across multiple inpatient units within a service line
