Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the NICU and Pediatrics department
• Float within the Pediatrics department and NICU as required
• May be required to float to affiliate hospital locations nearby
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — must be in hand prior to start date (temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license application has been submitted)
• Minimum of 18 months of NICU or Pediatric RN experience
• Graduation from a nursing program accredited by the ACEN or CCNE
• 2 supervisor references required
• Must not be a current or recent permanent or PRN employee of the facility — a 12-month separation is required before applying as a traveler
• Indiana residents are considered local and are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed — first-time travelers are also accepted
• Experience floating across multiple units or departments
• Familiarity with NICU-specific certifications relevant to the unit
