Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Weekend and holiday rotation required | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting with expected nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5
• Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Titrate IV drips and manage peripheral and PICC lines
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)
• Maintain ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience with peripheral line care/management and PICC line management required
• Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5) required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or stepdown setting
• Familiarity with multi-campus health system environments and floating protocols
• Experience titrating vasoactive or cardiac drips in an intermediate care setting
