Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 19:00–07:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit setting with expected patient ratios of 1:1–2
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients experiencing conditions such as multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, liver failure, and renal failure
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment including NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV Pump, GE Cardiac Monitor, and GE Ventilator
• Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management
• Administer and manage continuous glucose monitoring for hyperglycemia and externalized IV pumps for COVID+ patients
• Accurately document patient care using the EPIC electronic health record system (required)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license — compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience
• EPIC experience required
• BCLS certification required (AHA only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• NIHSS certification required (AHA only)
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Specialized experience with COVID, multisystem organ failure, and post-cardiac arrest care
• Familiarity with NxStage CRRT and boom lift equipment
• Experience with continuous glucose monitoring protocols in an ICU setting
