Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Every other weekend expected | Projected Start: October 19, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a progressive care unit with patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 on nights, utilizing available tech support
• Operate and monitor equipment including BiPAPs, high-flow O2, Vapotherm, Alaris pumps, and wound vacs in coordination with wound care
• Manage cardiac drips, heparin drips, insulin drips, and peritoneal dialysis as part of routine unit care
• Assist with or support procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tube insertions, Dobhoff/NG tube insertions, and central line dressing changes
• Perform every-2-hour rounding on nights, maintain communication boards, and adhere to AIDET patient experience standards
• Document accurately using the Meditech electronic health record system; may float between PCU units or to med-surg floors as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Tennessee
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, stepdown, or IMC setting
• Demonstrated experience with EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips
• Proficiency with peripheral IV insertion and multiple oxygen delivery systems including BiPAP and high-flow O2

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Peritoneal dialysis experience
• Experience with stroke care and post-cardiac catheterization care
• Familiarity with tube feedings and NG/Dobhoff tube management
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
