Contract | Days / Nights Rotating | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day: 7:00–19:30 / Night: 19:00–7:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a mixed-acuity PCU and Medical Surgical Telemetry unit serving medical oncology patients with a variety of diagnoses including solid tumors and blood cancers
• Monitor and manage high-acuity patients using GE B450 telemetry, Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, bladder scanners, and continuous bladder irrigation equipment
• Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention initiatives
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as required based on staffing needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience required
• Valid RN license (compact or state-specific) required at time of submission
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience preferred, though not required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Interest in chemotherapy administration; opportunity for professional development through an on-site 2-day chemotherapy training course is available
