Contract | 15 or 18 Weeks | Days | 4x10 or 5x8 | No Weekends (Some Saturdays may be required) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient physical therapy services to neuro/ortho and medically complex patients
- Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans within scope of practice
- Document patient progress and clinical notes using Epic electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, scheduling requirements, and holiday coverage expectations (expected to work 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Active Alaska Physical Therapist License required (compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses may be considered)
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals are not accepted
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience treating neurological and orthopedic patient populations
- Experience working with medically complex patients in an outpatient setting
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
