Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Work night shifts on a 4x12-hour schedule (19:00–07:00)
• Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs, within scope of practice
• Fulfill weekend commitment of 3 weekends per six-week schedule
• Work 2 out of 3 winter holidays as required
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies and unit-specific requirements throughout the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia; pending Virginia license accepted (must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a PICU or related pediatric specialty setting
