Schedule / Job Type

• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 26-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a hospital setting.
• Administer treatments, medications, and chemotherapy as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Support patients and families through education and emotional support.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 2 years of RN experience, preferably in oncology or med-surg.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy certification or experience administering chemo.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably Cerner.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to hospital policies and procedures.
