Contract | Days | 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts between 0630–1800 | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting across 6 labs with pre-op and Phase 2 recovery areas, supporting 20–30 cases per day
- Care for patients presenting with diagnoses including GI bleed, stroke, biopsy, central lines, drains, and vascular conditions
- Perform EKG interpretation and manage drip titration throughout intraprocedural and recovery phases
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 intraprocedural and a maximum of 1:4 in Phase 2 recovery
- Participate in primary and secondary call requirements, including 6–8 call shifts per 6-week period, which may include weekends and holiday call coverage
- Respond to call within 30 minutes as required by department standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Demonstrated EKG interpretation skills
- Experience with drip titration
- Ability to comply with a drug-free workplace policy, including a negative drug screen for all panels
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Background in ED, ICU, or procedural nursing environments
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and Philips monitoring equipment
- Prior experience in an Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures setting
