Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/Stepdown setting with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform cardiac monitoring including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry (unit and remote), and emergency response via Rapid Response Teams
• Manage a broad range of clinical skills including IV therapy, central line and PICC line care, blood product administration, heparin protocols, cardiac drip titration, and PCA management
• Provide neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, and post-surgical care including tracheostomy management, chest tube care, CPAP/BiPAP, CVA care, and post-cardiac/cath procedures
• Fulfill holiday shift and Charge RN assignments as needed per unit; complete required weekend shifts per scheduling period
• Float between departments, units, and facilities as needed to meet patient care demands

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — must hold both Kansas and Missouri licensure or a compact license at time of submission</strong>; pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, Stepdown, or similar setting
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Proficiency in telemetry, cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, wound care, and isolation precautions
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Charge RN experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Experience accessing implanted ports
• Oncology experience including monitoring chemotherapy
