Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday | Start times between 0800–1000 | On-call required (24 hours per 6-week schedule period) | 40 guaranteed hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and recovery monitoring for a diverse surgical patient population including GU, GYN, colorectal, bariatric, minimally invasive, and ENT procedures
• Manage complex postoperative patients with multiple drains, vasoactive drips, and mechanical ventilation
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias in a high-acuity PACU environment
• Float within service line as needed to meet facility demands
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled (24 hours per 6-week period)
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or a qualifying compact state (pending Missouri license accepted at time of submittal)
• Minimum 1 year of PACU or critical care experience required; experience at a Level I Trauma Center strongly considered
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, and critical care competencies required
• Must pass Relias EKG exam; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma PACU setting
• Familiarity managing vasoactive drips and patients recovering from general anesthesia
• Experience with pre-operative patient management in a high-volume surgical environment
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
