Contract | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM | 13–18 Week Assignments Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• May float to designated units to care for the same patient population based on operational needs
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation with required passing scores
• Rotate shifts as needed to meet hospital operational requirements
• Maintain active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications throughout assignment
• Work at least every other holiday as required by facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required; co-worker references will not be accepted
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location preferred, though combined experience across locations will be considered
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessment platforms
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or telemetry environment
