Contract | Days | 4x12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients within the NICU setting in accordance with scope of practice
• Participate in charge duties as applicable, with charge pay available
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required — floating is expected of all travelers
• Adhere to weekend rotation requirements, including every-other-weekend availability
• Fulfill holiday coverage expectations, including working 2 out of 3 major holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses may be available once permanent license applications have been submitted
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Graduation from a nursing program accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation
• Current and valid certifications as required for the NICU unit — confirm specific cert requirements upon submission
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Must not be a current or recent permanent or PRN employee of this facility within the past 12 months
• Indiana residents are considered local and are not accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are also accepted
• Experience floating within a hospital system or to affiliate facilities
• Familiarity with neonatal care protocols and high-acuity patient management
