Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a wide range of surgical cases including Neuro, Ortho Trauma, Ortho Totals, Neuro Spine, Basic Craniotomy, VP Shunt, and Peripheral Vascular procedures
• Support Trauma cases including spleen repairs, organ donation, GSW, and thoracotomies, as well as Urology, General, GYN, Laparoscopic, ENT, Robotics, Plastics, Oral Max, and Dilation & Curettage procedures
• Perform instrument and tray reprocessing for ortho, ortho/totals, and neuro/spine/craniotomy trays
• Participate in on-call rotations and holiday coverage as required; no block scheduling
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required — floating is 100% required of all travelers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Teaching Hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required (at least 1 year)
• Required Certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA — must be in hand prior to start date
• Core competency scores of 3s and 4s required in Neuro, Ortho General, Plastics, GYN, ENT, GU, and Trauma
• Indiana residents are considered local travelers and are eligible for this position at the applicable in-state rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with flap and scope procedures within Plastics
• Robotics-assisted surgical case experience
• Familiarity with thrombectomy and AAA procedures
• Laparoscopic-assisted gynecological procedure experience
