Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a primary focus on cardiac patients, including those with Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out Myocardial Infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Arrhythmias
• Manage patients with respiratory conditions such as COPD and Pneumonia as a secondary focus
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for assigned patients
• Care for patients with diagnoses including Heart Failure, Respiratory Failure, NSTEMI, COPD, and Pneumonia
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as required (non-billable, average 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed, regardless of specialty)
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients with Heart Failure, NSTEMI, or Acute Coronary Syndrome in a stepdown or PCU setting
• Familiarity with respiratory patient management including COPD and Pneumonia
• Experience floating across multiple units or campuses within a large health system
